Why not pay us a visit and see the past come to life?

Visit the ARC

The ARC has a collection of many amazing treasures from more than 100 years of guiding history, but the collection really comes to life when people visit us to explore and discover our thousands of incredible artefacts for themselves. So why not pay us a visit and see the past come to life?  Come by yourself or bring a group.

The ARC is part of the Girlguiding Norfolk’s Patteson Lodge Estate at Coltishall, which also includes Patteson Lodge Activity Centre and campsite.  It is very near Girlguiding Anglia’s activity centre at Hautbois House and groups staying at both centres can book sessions and use the facilities at the ARC. We also run sessions for groups at the ARC – see our Discover pages for more information

We are usually open every Monday for visits from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Why not pop in and see us and pay a visit to the Region shop at Hautbois?

Appointments for visits at other times can be made by agreement with the archivist, Helen Green.

We open for events such as Heritage Open Days in September each year, and other special occasions. These are advertised on our website and locally.
