Our research


This history spans from the time of the suffragettes, through two world wars and the swinging sixties, right up to the present day.

Recent research has included:
- Childhood health in inter-war years – PhD research
- History of Air Rangers in Norfolk – Internationally recognised Discovery Award for over 50s
- A comparison of uniformed youth organisations and how they taught citizenship during WW2
- Guiding in Style – a research project as part of a degree course
- Research on First Aid in Guiding for a book
