We were invited to participate in Gressenhall Museum’s 50th anniversary celebrations, which meant enjoying all things of the 1970s.Local Brownies and Guides from Toftwood participated in meetings, designed around what would have been worn and activities done in that era. Everyone loved it and over 400 visitors came to Cherry Tree Cottage to see how we had been celebrating.
Happy Birthday to the Friends of Gressenhall!
It was also a treat to meet Baroness Gillian Shephard that day when she came across Girlguiding in the cottage, and was obviously delighted to see the girls. She told us then that she had been a Sea Ranger in North Walsham and has promised to come and be interviewed.
